Key Responsibilities: Manages the daily functions of the Pharmacy department. Aids in the training and growth of junior staff, forecasting personnel requirements, delegating tasks, ensuring deadlines are met, interpreting and enforcing consistent application of company policies. Utilizes experience and professional judgment to strategize and achieve assigned objectives.
Role Summary: Accountable for the execution and compliance with the Noble Standard of Practice, ensuring the delivery of top-tier health care services to our clientele.
Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be necessary for meetings with State Boards of Pharmacy. Participation in various business and management conferences may also be required.
Work Shifts: Includes day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
Core ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties:
- Adheres to the Noble Standard of Practice for dispensing medications and providing patient consultations.
- Facilitates the fulfillment of specialized or niche distribution products.
- Obtains and maintains licensure in additional states as necessary.
- Offers support and guidance to patients as part of Noble's Clinical Management Programs.
- Ensures compliance with all Noble policies and procedures at all times.
- Participates in after-hours/on-call rotation as required.
- Conducts all quality assurance measures to guarantee accurate prescription dispensing. Reports any dispensing incidents promptly, in line with company protocols.
- Complies with all State and Federal regulations governing Pharmacy practice.
- Monitors claims for proper reimbursement and collection of owed funds.
- Manages and optimizes pharmacy inventory to ensure availability while maximizing turnover.
- Oversees inventory checks for expiration dates and processes returns accordingly.
- Maintains prescription files and other manual records in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Ensures adherence to all regulations related to the dispensing and delivery of prescriptions across various states.
- Maximizes the use of in-store pharmacy technology to ensure optimal return on investment.
- Guarantees exceptional customer service is consistently provided by all staff members.
- Ensures compliance with all Loss Prevention policies and reports any deviations.
- Maintains a clean and professional environment within the pharmacy department.
- Develops and sustains professional relationships with healthcare providers.
- Stays informed on advancements in Pharmacy and Health Care Services relevant to job responsibilities.
- Maintains confidentiality regarding all patient information.
- Facilitates communication between professional staff and Noble personnel.
- Aids in achieving or surpassing budgetary sales targets while operating within established guidelines.
- Assists in the training and development of all pharmacy department staff.
- Interacts with various auditors and external agencies as necessary.
- Completes all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Educational Background:
- Minimum: Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy.
- Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
Employment Conditions:
- Drug screening.
- Initial and ongoing exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring.
- Any additional eligibility requirements specific to the position.
Compensation:
$ per hour.
The final compensation will be determined after careful evaluation of various factors including relevant skills, years of experience, and educational background.
