Job Summary
Premier Chevrolet of Seaside is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring seamless communication between customers and service technicians, and driving sales growth through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service
- Act as a liaison between customers and service technicians to ensure the best possible customer experience.
- Greet customers as they arrive in the service drive and check them in and out using our iPad and computer systems.
- Take pictures and inspect vehicles for damage, and create and open repair orders for customers.
- Utilize your knowledge of our products and services to sell and upsell customer services.
- Answer questions about scheduling, booking, and vehicle pick-up, and follow up with customers about updated pick-up times and service changes.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Update Axcessa with detailed notes daily, and review with the Service Manager every Friday.
- Liaise with service technicians and parts department to ensure parts are ordered and have arrived.
- Sales and Revenue Growth
- Collect payment from customers and create positive customer relationships to ensure repeat business.
Requirements
- Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in automotive or a service advisor position.
- Skills
- Superb customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
- Valid driver's license and a fairly clean driving record.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
