The Louisiana State University Agricultural Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Extension Agent to join our team. As an Extension Agent, you will play a critical role in providing educational programs and services to the people of Louisiana.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement educational programs and materials for farmers, ranchers, and other stakeholders in the agricultural industry.
- Conduct research and gather data to inform extension programming and policy decisions.
- Collaborate with other extension agents, researchers, and stakeholders to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Provide technical assistance and support to farmers, ranchers, and other stakeholders in the agricultural industry.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field such as agriculture, horticulture, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in extension work or a related field.
