Position Overview
The Optometrist will be responsible for performing comprehensive eye examinations and ensuring the highest standards of patient care at AEG Vision. This role is pivotal in fostering patient relationships and educating them about ocular health.

Key Responsibilities
As an Optometrist, your duties will include:

  • Conducting thorough eye examinations to assess visual acuity and eye health.
  • Building long-lasting relationships with patients through effective communication and education.
  • Gathering patient history and understanding their visual needs prior to examinations.
  • Providing expert recommendations for corrective lenses and treatments for various ocular conditions.
  • Enhancing patient loyalty by promoting the values of AEG Vision and the profession of Optometry.
  • Performing vision tests and interpreting the results accurately.
  • Diagnosing refractive errors and eye diseases, prescribing necessary treatments.
  • Offering pre- and postoperative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries.
  • Evaluating patients for systemic diseases and coordinating referrals as needed.
  • Promoting eye health through patient counseling on lens care and the importance of regular eye exams.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Doctorate of Optometry from an accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of all state board examinations for optometry.
