Detention Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Detention Officer to join our team at Allied Universal Inc. As a Detention Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and secure transportation of detainees from various locations to designated points.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of transportation vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, detainee movements, and other relevant data.
- Ensure the safe and secure transportation of detainees, adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor and control the behavior of detainees during transportation, using de-escalation techniques when necessary.
- Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure seamless detainee transportation and custody.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a related field, such as law enforcement or security.
- Valid California Security Guard License and California Firearms Permit required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.
