We are currently seeking a skilled Quality Inspector I to enhance our industry-leading offerings at Tosoh Quartz, Inc.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final dimensional assessments utilizing various gauges, micrometers, calipers, test indicators, and height gauges in accordance with product specifications.
- Execute visual inspections based on internal and customer-defined cosmetic standards.
- Record inspection outcomes in alignment with customer specifications.
- Package and label products according to customer guidelines.
- Perform routine checks on measuring instruments.
- Engage with manufacturing and engineering teams regarding quality concerns.
- Support engineering and manufacturing in special initiatives as needed.
Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a quality control or inspection role.
- Ability to interpret mechanical schematics.
- Capable of applying internal or customer specifications and standards effectively.
- Proficient in inspection methodologies and the appropriate use of measurement tools for product evaluation.
- Experience with inspection instruments such as micrometers, height gauges, test/dial indicators, calipers, profilometers, gage blocks, pin gauges, feeler gauges, optical comparators, and microscopes.
- Strong mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
