Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled Cost Accounting Manager to oversee our cost accounting functions. This role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting and cost management across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee cost accounting operations, ensuring precise reporting of costs associated with goods produced and sold.
  • Develop and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and standard costing methodologies (material, labor, and overhead) within ERP systems across various locations.
  • Facilitate annual updates to standard costs through collaboration with different departments.
  • Conduct monthly reviews and reconciliations of cost variances.
  • Implement and manage perpetual inventory systems across all sites.
  • Coordinate monthly closing activities and engage in budgeting processes.
  • Ensure accurate inventory reporting and reconciliation practices.
  • Deliver timely and precise financial insights, including product costing information.
  • Analyze manufacturing operations alongside plant managers to enhance decision-making processes.
  • Maintain the integrity of accounting systems and perform account analyses.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory capacity.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and communicate financial information effectively.
  • Proficiency in relevant accounting software and systems.
