Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Public Health Nutritionist to join our team at the North Port Family Health Center. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in promoting healthy lifestyles and preventing disease in our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Certify and recertify women, infants, and children to participate in the WIC Program.
  • Provide nutrition assessment and counseling for WIC clients, documenting counseling in client records using the SOAP format.
  • Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans for each client.
  • Select, develop, and evaluate client education materials, including preparing bulletin boards and conducting group instruction.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics.
  • Registered Dietitian or Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist in the State of Florida.
  • Driver's license and transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience working with the WIC Program.
