Structural Integrity Engineer

Job Overview:


The role involves utilizing advanced computational techniques and tools within a specialized domain, focusing on the strength of metallic and composite structures, finite element analysis, and evaluating fatigue and damage tolerance.

The engineer will be responsible for defining structural specifications and conducting thorough structural evaluations on innovative designs of both primary and secondary airframe components. Experience in analyzing stress within subsystems and their installations is preferred. Proficiency in structural mechanics simulation software such as NASTRAN and PATRAN is essential. Familiarity with Altair HyperMesh for pre-processing and TMP Vision for post-processing is also advantageous. Knowledge of CATIA V5/3DX is highly desirable. A solid understanding of UNIX/LINUX operating systems is required. The candidate must possess the ability to interpret detailed, assembly, and installation drawings and models.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Expertise in airframe primary structure layout and sizing
  • Proficient in hand/Excel-based analysis of aerospace structures
  • Experience with NASTRAN and PATRAN or HyperMesh
Familiarity with Slim, Vision, and IDAT is a plus.
