Patient Services Coordinator IV

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Coordinator IV to join our team at Novant Health. This role will be responsible for processing referrals and performing Dimensions super-user functions such as practice support with EPIC or working the miscellaneous work queues.
Key Responsibilities- Process referrals and ensure timely completion
- Perform Dimensions super-user functions, including practice support with EPIC
- Work miscellaneous work queues as needed
- Collaborate with team members to achieve exceptional patient experience
- Stay up-to-date with changing priorities and adapt to new challenges
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Three years of experience in a medical office setting required
- Knowledge of medical office software, including updating patient demographic information, posting charges, copays, and scheduling patient appointments
- Understanding of CPT and ICD9-CM coding processes
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with individuals of all cultures and levels of authority
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Initiative and ability to function as part of a team
- Basic medical terminology required
- High level of working knowledge of EPIC systems
- Detailed knowledge of multiple payors billing requirements
- Familiarity of coding requirements for practice specialty
