Job Overview

This role is part of a collaborative initiative with the State of Delaware and the Delaware Department of Transportation.


Position Details:

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM


Program Focus:

The WADEAP program is dedicated to supporting our re-entry population by emphasizing litter control along Delaware's roadways. We are looking to fill three positions that will contribute to keeping Delaware free of litter.


Available Positions:
  • Driver & Back-up Driver: $15 to $16 per hour
  • Laborer: $13.25 per hour

To qualify for the Driver or Back-up Driver roles, candidates must possess a valid Driver's License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR). Previous driving experience is required, and candidates must be able to pass a drug screening. This role is considered a leadership position.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct vehicle inspections to meet all safety standards.
  • Ensure all crew members are equipped with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assign tasks effectively to maximize daily productivity.
  • Maintain clear communication with team members and program supervisors.

Essential Functions:
  • Adhere to safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Be flexible with work hours and days as required by operational needs.
  • Participate in meetings, training sessions, and team activities as necessary.
