Position Overview:

We are in search of a proficient Computer Vision Engineer to enhance our innovative team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in 2D image processing, 3D geometry, and bundle adjustment, coupled with experience in data collection methodologies and statistical analysis. As a Computer Vision Engineer, your role will involve the creation, debugging, and testing of computer vision algorithms to meet defined specifications. You will also utilize simulation or test datasets to validate these algorithms, which are essential for sensor calibration to facilitate machine perception capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement computer vision algorithms that fulfill specific criteria.
  • Establish data collection strategies and oversee data acquisition for algorithm development.
  • Conduct statistical analyses and leverage simulation or test datasets for algorithm validation.
  • Debug, test, and verify algorithms to ensure superior quality outcomes.
  • Develop geometric calibration algorithms, including SLAM camera calibration, eye tracking camera calibration, and inertial measurement unit calibration.
  • Utilize C++ for the development and optimization of algorithms tailored for real-time applications.
  • Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, hardware engineers, and data scientists.
  • Engage in the design, development, and deployment of computer vision applications.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in computer vision engineering or a comparable field.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python, with a strong foundation in 3D geometry.
  • Experience in 2D image processing, 3D geometry, and/or bundle adjustment.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
