Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage individual patient care
- Elicit and review patient information to provide proper assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
- Examine patients to determine the nature of their condition
- Perform various treatments, including extractions, treatments for injured teeth, and filling cavities
- Design and make dentures to replace missing or diseased teeth
- Educate patients on oral and dental hygiene
- Administer local anesthetics as needed
- Supervise the taking and reading of dental X-rays
- Prescribe and administer medications and vaccinations according to national and organizational standards of care
- Thoroughly document patient visits
- Strive to achieve organization quality goals
- Actively support organization quality initiatives
- Follow established regulations and professional standards
Requirements:
- Active unrestricted DDS or DMD license in the state of Kentucky
- Valid DEA license
- Current training in basic life support (CPR)
