Job Summary

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to provide high-quality, private duty nursing care to medically fragile patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a Nurse Specialist, you will work closely with patients and their families to develop personalized care plans that meet their unique needs and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, including wound care, medication management, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop strategies to address these needs.
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare teams and families.

Requirements:

  • Current RN or LPN licensure in the state of Iowa.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in private duty nursing or home health care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
