About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Laboratory Professional to join our team at Prime Physicians, PLLC. In this role, you will be responsible for providing lab testing, equipment maintenance, and performing procedures in various departments including Chemistry, Microbiology, Urinalysis, Coagulations, and Phlebotomy.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct phlebotomy for all age groups using appropriate techniques (finger sticks, heel sticks, venipuncture).
• Collect specimens following established protocols and ensure quality control.
• Maintain high standards of competence and work independently after completing required competencies.
• Assure preparation of tests for all patients, including performing test calibrations and calibration verification studies as needed. Checks specimens, prepares reagents, and maintains adequate supplies. Electronically enters, or writes clinical reports and descriptions of laboratory care.

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science Degree or associate's degree in medical technology, or Clinical Laboratory Science or a primary science (i.e., Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, etc.).
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical laboratory experience as a generalist medical technologist is required.
• Possession of a Medical Technologist or Medical Lab Scientist, or as a Clinical Lab Scientist certification by the appropriate agency (ASCP, AMT, AAB) is necessary.
• BLS certification is also required.
