Position SummaryWe are in search of a meticulous and versatile individual to undertake precision tasks such as filing, sanding, deburring, and polishing components using a variety of tools and machinery. The selected candidate will be responsible for inspecting and measuring parts to guarantee quality, performing routine maintenance, and adhering to safety and cleanliness protocols. Effective communication and a collaborative spirit are essential, along with the flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as required.
Key Responsibilities- Employ a range of tools, including manual, pneumatic, and electric hand tools, to execute filing, sanding, deburring, or polishing tasks.
- Manipulate workpieces or tools manually to achieve precise outcomes.
- Propose or develop methods and parameters for blending and polishing operations.
- Inspect and measure finished components to ensure compliance with specifications, utilizing precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Conduct cleaning operations and perform routine maintenance on machinery as necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following safety regulations and company policies, while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and team members regarding job progress.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and be a team player, eager to collaborate and contribute to team success.
- Assume additional duties as assigned to meet the evolving needs of the department.

This position involves working in both an office and machine shop environment. Candidates must be able to:
