Harris Regional Hospital is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, and we're seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit team. As a valued member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse in our Intensive Care Unit, you'll be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, administering specialized treatments, and monitoring critical conditions. Our unit operates on a 2:1 ratio, ensuring that you'll have the support and resources you need to deliver exceptional care. You'll work alongside a dedicated team of Physicians, Advanced Practitioners, Registered Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants to provide compassionate care to patients with a diverse range of diagnoses, including respiratory failure, cardio/pulmonary disease, sepsis, and diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA).

Qualifications and Requirements

  • A current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of North Carolina or from a compact state
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days and maintained
  • AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year of hire and maintained thereafter
