Compensation Note: Salary ranges are determined based on experience, education, and relevant certifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure the safety and integrity of products and samples throughout processing, storage, and shipment in alignment with company protocols.
  2. Execute plasma and sample processing in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), customer requirements, and applicable regulations.
  3. Demonstrate proficiency in sample centrifugation, label management, and documentation accuracy.
  4. Classify and document products in accordance with donor programs.
  5. Assist in the casing, staging, quarantine, and quality assurance release of all products.
  6. Conduct quality control checks on various laboratory instruments (e.g., temperature monitoring of freezers/refrigerators, refractometer, hematocrit, PCS2 machines, weight scales, etc.).
  7. Oversee product packaging and inventory management within freezers to optimize efficiency. Document the disposal of unsuitable products appropriately.
  8. Prepare and verify product shipments.
  9. Receive and manage inventory for incoming supplies.
  10. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  2. Willingness to work flexible and/or extended hours.
  3. Exposure to blood-borne pathogens is expected.
  4. Basic knowledge of computer systems and software (training provided for Document Management Systems).
  5. Proven accuracy in completing documentation.
Physical Demands:
  1. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods, up to four hours.
  2. Ability to work in environments with temperatures as low as -30°C for brief intervals.
  3. Capability to lift, tug, and pull weights up to fifty pounds.
  4. Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel as required.
  5. Cold tolerance for storage freezer environments and adaptability to varying temperatures when handling samples and products.
  6. Regularly required to stand and use hands for handling objects, tools, or controls.
