Toddler Educator

This position is responsible for the overall health, safety, and nurturing of toddlers, aged 18-36 months, enrolled in the program. The ideal candidate will plan, prepare, and develop classroom curriculum, and interact with children in activities to promote social, physical, and cognitive growth appropriate to their developmental stages.

• Develop and implement classroom curriculum that aligns with early childhood education standards
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for toddlers, promoting their physical, social, and emotional development
• Engage in activities that stimulate cognitive growth, such as reading, singing, and play
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective educational program
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience working with young children in an early childhood setting or public-school setting
• First Aid/CPR certification and Food Handler's certification required
• Health Determination/TB Skin Test and Fingerprint Background Check required prior to employment
• Bilingual ability (Spanish/English) preferred

• Driver's License/Proof of Insurance (Preferred): Maintain a current New Mexico driver's license, an insurable driving record, and provide proof of current liability insurance meeting or exceeding State-required minimum coverages
