Job Description

As a Parent Peer Support Specialist with Integrea Community Mental Health Systems, you will work closely with parents of teens and children enrolled in our clinical services. Your personal experience as a parent whose child received mental health services will enable you to foster hope, build resiliency, and develop self-advocacy skills in these families. You will provide structured, scheduled activities that promote socialization, recovery, self-advocacy, development of natural supports, and maintenance of community living skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with parents of teens and children enrolled in our clinical services
  • Implement treatment processes in collaboration with the parents' clinical team leader
  • Provide peer support and guidance to empower parents to achieve their goals

Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED from a state-accredited school/source
  • Current/valid driver's license or identification card
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with word processing
  • Personal experience with mental health as a child or adolescent receiving mental health services
