At StandardAero, we are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Assembly Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on turbofan and turboprop powered aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and major inspections on turbofan and turboprop powered aircraft, including disassembly and reassembly of Honeywell engine types and models.
- Troubleshoot and repair aircraft components, including engines, airframes, and other systems.
- Conduct inspections and evaluations of aircraft and engine components to ensure compliance with OEM standards and company policies.
- Document all work accomplished in a clear and concise manner, including maintenance records and repair documentation.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless execution of maintenance tasks and projects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, technologies, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in aerospace maintenance, repair, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, including engines, airframes, and electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and customers.
