Key Responsibilities
  • Unload Deliveries: Receive and unload daily deliveries of merchandise, ensuring that products are accurately inventoried and stored in the correct locations.
  • Stock and Merchandise Products: Stock and merchandise products on the sales floor and in backrooms, maintaining a high level of visual appeal and ensuring that products are easily accessible to customers.
  • Verify Inventory: Verify that quantity, quality, and products delivered match invoices and assist departments in tracking vendor credits and records of inventory, damages, and variances.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Environment: Ensure that shelves and cases are clean and well-stocked, and that the sales floor and backrooms are organized and free of clutter.
  • Maximize Sales: Help to maximize sales through effective and proper procedures for stocking, rotating, and merchandising product, both on the sales floor and in the backrooms and coolers/freezers.
  • Follow Sanitation and Safety Guidelines: Properly handle products, use equipment, keep accurate logs, and follow sanitation practices in accordance with food and human safety guidelines.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Ability to Lift: Ability to lift up to 32 pounds on average, with occasional lifting of heavier items.
  • Availability: Must be available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
