We are committed to providing a comprehensive transition-to-practice program for new graduate nurses, designed to facilitate their progress from student to professional nurse.
Program OverviewOur 12-month Nurse Residency program combines precepted orientation with blended learning experiences, led by dedicated preceptors. The program is tailored to new graduates from professional nursing organizations and focuses on developing the clinical judgment, communication skills, and professional commitment necessary for success in our dynamic healthcare environment.

ResponsibilitiesThe staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities, and demonstrating professional growth and accountability.
RequirementsTo be eligible for this program, you must:
- Be a new graduate of a nursing program
- Hold a current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse
- Have BLS certification
