Key Responsibilities- Prepare, analyze, and report on various aspects of tax for our organization.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax codes, regulations, and procedures.
- Utilize tax software and databases, as well as MS Office, particularly Excel, to perform tasks efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance.
- Identify and resolve tax-related issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax analyst role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
