Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, analyze, and report on various aspects of tax for our organization.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax codes, regulations, and procedures.
  • Utilize tax software and databases, as well as MS Office, particularly Excel, to perform tasks efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance.
  • Identify and resolve tax-related issues, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree in Taxation or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tax analyst role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, with a high level of integrity and professionalism.
