Benchmark Behavioral Health Systems is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team. As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to our residents, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide active engagement and support to residents through psycho-ed groups, physical activities, and therapeutic assignments.
- Model healthy relationship building skills and provide coaching on pro-social skills.
- Practice empathy and trauma-informed care, creating a safe and supportive environment for residents to heal and grow.
- Ensure the safety and security of residents through consistent engagement and supervision.
We offer a variety of shifts to accommodate different schedules and preferences:
- Day Shift: Sunday through Thursday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, with a shift differential of $4.00 per hour on Sunday.
- Weekend Shift: Friday and Saturday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM, with a shift differential of $4.00 per hour.
- PM Shift: Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, with a shift differential of $2.00 per hour on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and $4.00 per hour on Friday and Saturday.
- Full benefits coverage on your first day of employment, including medical, dental, vision, and more.
- Accrual of hours of Paid Time Off by your 30th day of employment.
- Double time pay for holidays (the big 6).
- Generous Shift Differential - Additional amount of $$ per hour depending on the shift you work.
- FREE healthy and delicious meals while on shift.
- Tuition/Educational Reimbursement - $3,000, tax-free annually.
- (k) Retirement Plan with Company Match + Stock Purchase Plan Option.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required, in a human service field or working toward a degree.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older to apply.
- Must be able to pass a criminal history background check and drug screen.
