Job Title: Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at a progressive and financially stable Hospital System in Tallahassee, Florida.

Job Summary

This is a unique opportunity to work as a Float Pool RN in the ICU, where you will have the ability to rotate through various units and provide high-quality patient care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in the ICU, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and other nurses, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • 2 years of recent ICU Acute Care RN experience.
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state of Florida.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required.
