As the Director of Global Security Operations for Walmart, you will be responsible for overseeing the seamless operation of the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC). This includes managing IT hardware, software, and data stewardship, ensuring that critical systems are secure, operational, and compliant with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage GSOC operations, ensuring 24/7 functionality and security.
- Oversee IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and data systems.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure operational efficiency and compliance.
- Coordinate logistics, supply chain management, and vendor relationships to support uninterrupted operations.
- Manage project initiatives to enhance GSOC operations, including system upgrades and process improvements.
- Coordinate tours, external visits, and events to showcase GSOC capabilities to stakeholders and visitors.
- Proven experience in managing mission-critical facilities and IT systems.
- Strong technical background in administering IT systems and managing data.
- Experience in project management, process optimization, and logistics management.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Relevant academic credentials, such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Operations Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
