Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Solar Inverter Technician to join our team in Lubbock, TX. As a key member of our field service team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar inverters and ESS systems at customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain solar inverters and ESS systems at customer sites, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair solar inverters and ESS systems, identifying and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Commissioning and Testing: Commission and test solar inverters and ESS systems, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of installation, maintenance, and repair activities, including documentation of technical issues and resolutions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, logistics, and customer support, to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's degree in an engineering or computer science discipline from an accredited university or college.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a technical field, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in solar inverters or ESS.
  • Skills: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Strong problem-solving abilities, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certifications: OSHA 10 certificate within 12 months of date of hire, NFPA 70e certificate within 12 months of date of hire.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position, with 80%+ travel required. The successful candidate will be based in the Lubbock, TX area and will be required to work independently in the field, with occasional collaboration with design engineers and other team members.
