Compensation and Benefits

Daily Responsibilities of a Leasing Consultant
At Rutherford, we continuously redefine the role of a Leasing Consultant. Your success will be measured by your innovative approach and the unparalleled experiences you create for our customers.
As a Leasing Consultant, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting market research and analysis.
- Developing and executing marketing strategies.
- Advertising to attract potential tenants.
- Scheduling and conducting property tours.
- Maximizing rental opportunities.
- Ensuring properties are ready for the market.
- Handling all administrative tasks related to lease agreements and renewals.
- Providing exceptional customer service and managing service requests.
Your role will be dynamic and fulfilling, as you will play a crucial part in enhancing the quality of life for our residents.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in sales or customer service, preferably in property management.
- Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; familiarity with OneSite is a plus.
- Ability to effectively communicate information in both individual and small group settings.
- A strong enthusiasm for leasing in a customer service-oriented environment.
- Core competencies include excellent interpersonal skills, leadership capabilities, effective communication, proactive problem-solving, and self-management.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Willingness to travel between multiple property locations as needed.

Work Schedule
The standard work hours are typically from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. However, during peak leasing periods or special projects, hours may vary. Properties with occupancy rates below 95% will require weekend availability for leasing tours, and schedules will be adjusted accordingly.
