As a key member of the management team, the Environmental Services Supervisor plays a vital role in supporting the Director of Support Services by overseeing a dedicated team responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the hospital and its surrounding areas. The supervisor will be tasked with various responsibilities, including:

  • Accepting special projects and assignments that contribute to the overall efficiency of the department.
  • Gathering and analyzing performance metrics to ensure high standards of service.
  • Assisting in the development and evaluation of staff competencies.
  • Collaborating in the preparation and oversight of the annual budget to align with departmental goals.

The ideal candidate will possess the necessary knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional service to patients across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Position Qualifications

  • Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred Education: Certification from the National Executive Housekeepers Association is advantageous.
  • Minimum Experience: At least 3 years of experience in housekeeping, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role within an institutional setting.
  • Preferred Certifications: IEHA - International Executive Housekeepers Association certification is desirable.
