About the Job
The Raymond Corporation is seeking a skilled Mechanic 3rd Shift to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining complex machines and production equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair machinery and equipment malfunctions
- Determine complex repair requirements and recommend parts for repair
- Assemble, install, and inspect new equipment and modifications to existing equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Work from blueprints, wiring diagrams, and machine specifications to complete tasks
- Support the Company's 5S program and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve processes and recommend changes through the kaizen process
About the Work Environment
This position is 3rd shift and requires working 10:00pm - 6:30am. You will work in a factory setting and be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with Company policy. You will also be required to obtain and maintain Forklift Driver Certification through the Company.
About You
- A High School Diploma or GED is preferred
- Three or more years of related experience in a factory/warehouse environment is required
- Broad understanding and working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or basic electronic principles and machine operations is required
