Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Biometrics Planning Director to join our team at WuXi AppTec. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing proposals, contracts, and budget activities, as well as planning and executing biometrics projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise project planning and execution, ensuring timely communication with Statistics, Programming, and Data Management functions.
  • Coordinate with project management teams to ensure smooth and prompt response to customer and internal team requests.
  • Manage contracts, budget, and customer requests for proposals (RFP) and request for information (RFI).
  • Supervise monthly project progress and units tracking, troubleshooting contract, budget, and invoice issues.
  • Ensure prompt contract upload to the D365 system and timely invoicing.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in science.
  • 12-18 years of relevant experience in a health sciences research institute or pharmaceutical/biotech industry, including a minimum of 6 years of supervision experience.
  • 10 years plus of experience in management of scientific projects.
Requirements
  • Understanding of proposal, contract, and budget processes.
  • Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong project management skills supporting technical customers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Leadership qualities, including the soft skills needed to build collaboration and cross-functional teamwork across the organization.
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work in an office environment with minimal noise conditions. The employee must be able to stand or sit for most of the workday and perform some activities with repetitive motion, such as keyboarding.
