Essential Experience: Expertise in Alarm Management, particularly with applications such as PASS PSS, Hexagon PSI, and Honeywell Dynamo Alarms.

Position Overview:

The Alarm Management Consultant will be accountable for delivering a range of service and support functions across diverse client accounts. This role primarily focuses on the upkeep and enhancement of alarm management systems to guarantee uninterrupted operations.

  • Implementation:
  • Deployment of Alarm Management tools.
  • Architectural design for application deployment in Azure.
  • Infrastructure sizing and server setup in Azure.
  • Configuration of applications and databases.
  • Support:
  • Diagnosing and resolving application issues.
  • Acting as the primary contact for customer incidents, outages, and communication disruptions.
  • Conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions.
  • Performing installations, repairs, and upgrades on automation systems.
  • Maintaining comprehensive records of service activities, including reports and maintenance logs.
  • Maintenance:
  • Conducting routine inspections, maintenance, and software updates.
  • Identifying and rectifying system malfunctions or inefficiencies.
  • Implementing system upgrades and enhancements to boost efficiency and performance.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience as determined through interview.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with Alarm Management tools such as PSS Plant State Suite or other alarm management solutions.
  • Familiarity with refinery and petrochemical operations.
  • Understanding of OPC communication protocols such as HAD DAUA.
  • Knowledge of industrial communication architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure.
  • Experience with DCS systems from various vendors, including Honeywell, Emerson, and Yokogawa.

Key Skills:

Proficiency in Azure IoT.
