Job Summary

Talbert House is seeking a highly skilled Vaping Treatment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our prevention and education services, you will be responsible for providing prevention and education services in various settings, developing and implementing prevention services, and training staff in prevention and education techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Remain current on prevention and education standards and ensure our program provides services in accordance with those standards.
  • Identify and assess needs of customers/clients, utilizing supportive educational methods that are appropriate to the customer and topic.
  • Complete service documentation accurately and timely in electronic health records.
  • Provide both prevention and education services, facilitating referral to and/or providing appropriate level of care.
  • Develop, define, and implement realistic, effective, and measurable goals and plans for services.
  • Collect, track, and evaluate program data for fidelity and service quality.
  • Recruit community groups, schools, and others for prevention services.
Requirements
  • Prevention Education Provider ICDCA with experience required.
  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience as allowed/required by regulatory bodies.
  • Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist preferred.
Working Conditions

This position requires occasional standing and walking, with frequent sitting. The ability to drive in accordance with job duties assigned is also required.
