We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Construction Representative 2 to join our team at CDM Smith. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing construction personnel working on medium-sized assigned areas of the construction site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure construction work put in place matches construction plans and identifies deficiencies in constructed structures.
  • Review contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with construction timelines, costs, and materials.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to more junior staff and review their work.
  • Document deficiencies, expected cost overruns, materials issues, and other related construction issues or risks.
  • Prepare related reports, including monthly progress reports.
  • Maintain daily reports of construction activities.
  • Communicate construction issues to project leadership and escalate issues to appropriate design staff for resolution.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or Vocational Technical degree or equivalent.
  • 12 years of related experience.
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
