Production Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Technician to join our team at dsm-firmenich. As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for performing hands-on synthesis of dsm-firmenich biomedical devices. You will work in a regulated production environment and follow SOPs to ensure the highest quality products.
Key Responsibilities- Clean all reactors, pressure pots, drums, and other ancillary equipment needed for the synthesis of DSM Biomedical products.
- Provide sifting, packaging, extruding support as required.
- Complete weighing and dispensing the required raw materials for the synthesis of production and engineering runs.
- Record all the amounts of cleaning solvents used in the Material Log Sheet in the warehouse after cleaning.
- Report any observed unsafe equipment, condition, or practice immediately to a supervisor, management, or member of the Safety Committee.
- 3 years' experience in a chemical or industrial manufacturing facility/plant.
- High school Diploma or GED.
- Experience with chemical manufacturing processes and reactor operation along with demonstrated ability to learn and work safely.
- Good understanding of chemical safety and hygiene.
- Ability to lift and handle weights up to 50 pounds.
- Good interpersonal skills to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel and the ability to participate in multifunctional teams.
