Work Schedule: Full-Time Day Shifts

Shift Details: 3 shifts of 12 hours (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM)

Your Role: As a Pulmonary Care Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment and care of assigned patients. You will adhere to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and all relevant local, state, and federal regulations. Your active participation in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining respectful relationships is essential.

Your Contributions to the Team:

  • Strong critical thinking and patient assessment abilities, with the capacity to adapt care plans as needed
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills, including accurate documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Skills in airway management, including maintaining patient airways and caring for artificial airways
  • Ability to provide effective respiratory support, including oxygen administration, inhaled medications, lung expansion techniques, and bronchial hygiene

Qualifications for Success:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science
  • Current, valid state license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science
