Academic Hematopathologist- Pathology and Laboratory Medicine

Job Summary:

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center is seeking a highly qualified Academic Hematopathologist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for participating in diagnostic sign out of subspecialty areas, contributing to medical student, resident, and fellow training, and developing research projects reflective of your interests.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in diagnostic sign out of 1 or 2 subspecialty areas
  • Contribute to medical student, resident, and fellow training
  • Develop research projects reflective of your interests
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or D.O.
  • Board certified/eligible in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology
  • Fellowship training or practice experience in Hematopathology
  • Eligible for unrestricted licensure for the practice of medicine in Kansas
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fellowship training in Hematopathology
