Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team at Woods Services. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing behavior analytic services to individuals with complex needs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior plans to address challenging behaviors and promote skill development.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support and coordination of care.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify underlying causes of challenging behaviors and develop targeted interventions.
  • Provide training and coaching to paraprofessionals and other staff members to ensure consistent implementation of behavior plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate progress, making adjustments to behavior plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field with experience in behavioral interventions.
  • BCBA certification or eligibility preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral principles and theories, including ABA and positive behavioral supports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to lift and transfer individuals with physical disabilities, as needed.
