Key Responsibilities:

  • Executing the installation and repair of electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures within various structures.
  • Setting up conduits and pipes to accommodate electrical wires and cables.
  • Installing circuit breakers and other electrical components, ensuring proper wiring connections.
  • Verifying that piping adheres to electrical regulations.
  • Assessing electrical systems to identify necessary repairs.
  • Replacing conduits, wiring, and circuit breakers as required.
  • Carrying out additional related tasks as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Capability to interpret blueprints.
  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems and wiring.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Expertise in utilizing test meters and diagnostic instruments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in client relations.
  • Familiarity with or eagerness to learn company software, including Slack and Google Suite.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship and licensing is required.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in the electrical field.
  • Familiarity with or willingness to learn company software, including Slack, Google Suite, and Housecall Pro.

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Master Electrician: A valid master electrician license is essential.
  • Journeyman Electrician: A valid NH Journeyman Electrician license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.

Physical Demands:

  • Physical strength is necessary for performing heavy labor; the ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.
  • Prolonged periods of bending, reaching, climbing ladders, pulling wires and cables, crouching, and engaging in other related physical activities are expected. Ability to distinguish color-coded wiring is essential.
