**Job Summary**

Varwyne Talent Collective is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in the administration of radiation therapy as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Administer radiation therapy as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist
  • Interact with patients, physicians, nurses, patient's family, and co-workers
  • Provide excellent interpersonal communication skills to ensure effective care for all age groups
  • Meet the requirements for Basic Life Support (BLS) and registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as a Radiation Therapist
  • Stay up-to-date with department functions, radiation therapy procedures, and be able to explain them to nurses, physicians, Medical Center staff, and the public

**Requirements:**

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists as a Radiation Therapist
  • Prior experience in a Radiation Oncology Department is desirable but not required
