We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recruitment & Retention Specialist to join our Foster Care and Adoption team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in recruiting and retaining quality foster and adoptive families in western Iowa.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit and engage families from diverse backgrounds to become foster and adoptive parents.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to increase the number of quality licensed foster and approved adoptive homes.
- Collaborate with our Marketing and Communications team to leverage expertise and amplify our recruitment efforts.
- Engage current foster and adoptive families to assist with family-to-family recruitment and raise awareness about the need for more foster and adoptive families in Iowa.
- Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, human resource management, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in child welfare services, with a focus on recruitment and retention.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a good driving record.
- Ability to pass an extensive background check, including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child Abuse registries, the Sex Offender registry, and the criminal history check.
