We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Instructor LPN to join our team at Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing. As a Clinical Instructor LPN, you will play a vital role in the planning, development, and implementation of our Nurse Aide Training Program.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the planning, development, and coordination of Nurses and Nurse Aide training programs
  • Supervise and mentor trainees during the supervised clinical training portion of the nurse aid training program
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards
  • Develop and implement educational programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of nursing staff
Requirements:
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • New York State Registered Professional Nurse licensure
  • Experience in long-term care facility required
  • Quality assurance and nurse education experience required
  • Able to interpret patient information and make critical decisions about necessary actions regarding infection control and nurse education
  • Ability to work well with and show respect toward other healthcare personnel, residents, and their family members
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Able to perform tasks while upholding high standards of quality, cleanliness, and kindness
  • Physical endurance for frequent activity; ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds
