Job Summary

The Plant Maintenance Manager is a critical role within CRH, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This position requires a strong leader who can effectively manage a team, prioritize tasks, and maintain a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of maintenance professionals to achieve exceptional results.
  • Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance plans to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of plant equipment, including crushers, screens, conveyors, and other aggregates processing equipment.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure that all necessary parts and materials are available when needed.
  • Communication: Collaborate with plant managers, foremen, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; 5+ years of practical work experience preferred.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in an operations leadership role, preferably in the aggregates industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and experience with inventory management and equipment maintenance.
