Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, store, and distribute materials and supplies to various departments within the company.
- Material Handling: Operate lift trucks, hand trucks, and other equipment to move shipments from the shipping and receiving area to storage or work areas.
- Shipping and Receiving: Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, including quantities, weights, and documentation.
- Quality Control: Inspect materials and shipments to ensure they meet specifications and company standards.
- Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure work environment by adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
- Training and Development: Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in material handling and logistics.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Skills: Ability to lift 40 pounds, operate lift trucks and other equipment, and enter computer-based transactions.
- Certifications: Forklift certification and a valid driver's license.
