MRI Imaging Specialist

At Jefferson Regional, we are seeking a skilled MRI Imaging Specialist to join our team. As an MRI Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing technical procedures in the utilization of magnetic resonance for diagnosis. This role requires a strong understanding of radiologic technology and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures on patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics.
- Ensure the proper operation of MRI equipment and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Requirements:
- Registration by the ARRT is required for this position.
- Advanced certification in MRI by the ARRT is preferred.
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Working Conditions:
This position is designated as a safety-sensitive position. The essential duties of the job require the employee to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner. A lapse in attention to detail may constitute a threat to health or safety resulting in injury, illness, or death.
