Dental Hygiene Specialist

At Chinatown Service Center, we are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality oral health care to our patients.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing preventative oral care services, including teeth cleaning, examination, and education on good oral hygiene techniques. You will work closely with our dentists to ensure that patients receive comprehensive dental care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform dental hygiene services, including scaling, fluoride treatments, and sealants
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues
- Develop and implement customized care plans to meet patients' oral health needs
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide guidance on maintaining good oral health
- Assist dentists with procedures and emergencies as needed
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional dental standards
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of dental hygiene
- Registered Dental Hygienist licensure in California
- Current CPR certification
- 1-2 years of experience working in a dental practice
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Fluent in Cantonese and/or Mandarin
