Job Title: Quality Technician

NEO Tech is seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team. As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Job Summary:

The Quality Technician will work closely with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams to continuously improve quality performance and ensure compliance with quality standards. This role involves performing quality control inspections and tests on assemblies, components, and products at various stages of the production process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform dimensional and visual acceptance inspections of in-process and completed PCBA and electro-mechanical assemblies to drawings, specifications, work instructions, and routing sheets.
  • Identify and investigate out-of-specification situations to determine root cause and make recommendations for improving processes, technical documents, equipment, and operator training.
  • Conduct special testing, failure analysis, validations, and troubleshoot returned merchandise from customers.
  • Maintain and coordinate the material review board (MRB) and monitor and report established metrics.
  • Develop and maintain all necessary documentation, including checklists, work instructions, logs, and other quality-related documents.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; AS/AA degree in a technical field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in an electronic manufacturing environment, especially in contract manufacturing.
  • 2-4 years of previous quality inspector experience.
  • IPC 600 and 610 experience required; IPC J-STD-001 and IPC 620 experience a plus.
  • Working experience with Smartscope inspection equipment and AOI benchtop equipment a plus.
  • U.S. citizenship, permanent resident alien, or protected individual status required due to ITAR and CUI compliance.
