Critical Care Nurse Opportunity in Texas

HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest is committed to providing exceptional patient care and fostering a supportive work environment for our team members. As a Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients.
About the Role:
- You will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients experiencing critical illnesses requiring admission to the ICU.
- You will lead by example, working collaboratively with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
- You will delegate nursing tasks based on the needs of the patient and the knowledge and skills of the individual selected to perform such tasks.
- You will oversee the ongoing operations of the unit and will be responsible for staffing and scheduling.
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification required
- Current American Heart Association ACLS Certification required
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
