Key Responsibilities:- Develop a thorough understanding of our garment numbering system and shipping schedule board.
- Follow a shipping schedule and separate garments into routes for specific sort areas.
- Remove garments from supply rails and place them on the appropriate conveyor or placard hook by route.
- Hang shirts and pants in batches, ensuring they are properly sorted and ready for shipment.
- Identify and address any quality, mechanical, or shipping schedule issues that may arise.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to best practices in all production activities.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Working knowledge of basic math skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule and adapt to changing priorities.
This role is performed in a warehouse setting and requires regular exposure to outside weather conditions, extreme temperatures, and dust and noise. Overtime may be required as needed.
Education:A high school degree or equivalent is preferred.
